Riley, the Rescue Beagle Puppy With Separation Anxiety (Part 1)

“We had a beagle who was 11 years old and he passed away from cancer, so we adopted Riley from a rescue group called, Posh Pets.

We met her at an adoptapalooza event in Union Square, NYC.

We were looking, just to be around dogs, but not sure we were ready to adopt a dog.

We went into the adoption truck filled with puppies and dogs and got emotional.”

Norman, the Goofy Shepherd/Husky Puppy That Makes Everyone Laugh (part 4)

They get along great, but Norman can be annoying because he wants to play more than she does (she’s 11), he gets the message most of the time and backs off.

We’ve had Norman four month and he’s such a ball of energy.

He’s funny; he’s that goofy puppy that makes everyone laugh.

He’s got long legs that he will hopefully, grow into, but right now he’s very uncoordinated and constantly tripping over his own legs.”

“I fell in love with his ears and smile.

He was being fostered by a couple on the upper east side and we met up an adoption event at Petco.

We brought our dog Hannah with us to see how they would get along.

Norman rolled over and was submissive towards Hanna, so we thought it was a good match.”

Yoda, the Rescue Pug Who Needed Some Loving (part 7)

” His energy level was through the roof.

I spent hours outside with him in the park, at the dog run and home playing with him to work off his energy, give him exercise and make sure he no longer felt abandoned.

10 months later, he’s more secure and his past is further and further behind, and so is his attention seeking behavior.

He knows he is well loved.”

“I work in child care and saw her at the end of day pick up in the playground and talked to her almost every other day.

When he was five months old, she surrendered Yoda to her brother in Pittsburgh, because he wanted a dog, but his wife, who had just given birth did not want a dog, let alone a demanding puppy.”
