dog housebreaking

Bailey, the Staffordshire Terrier, Chow Chow, Boxer and Labrador Retriever Rescue Mix (she said, part 4)

“Bailey finally understands that I run.

She does her own thing, but always catches up with me.

It’s so much fun to see the progress that she’s made.

It was hard for her to adjust to living in the city coming from a shelter in Texas.

She had bad separation anxiety.

We worked with a trainer, took classes, and it required a lot of patience.”

Sammy, the Bijon, Shitzu teddy bear, pet shop rescue (she said, part 2)

“He called his mother, who used to breed dogs and told her he had a puppy for her.

My husband drove Sammy up to the Berkshire’s where she lives and left him with her.

After six weeks I felt bad for my husband and asked my mother-in-law if she would give Sammy back.

She was sad, and said she would miss him because he was the best dog she ever had, but ok.

And then Sammy came home.

My husband and daughters were so happy to have him back, that I felt good about bringing Sammy home.”
