Flora, the mix (part Jack Russell Terrier, part herding Cattle Dog), (she said part 3)

“Flora can be aggressive and I keep my eyes on her when we go out.

She’s small but no lap dog.

She is very independent and very territorial.

She’s got two close dog friends, but those are the only dogs she likes to socialize with.  When other dogs get too close, she bares her teeth and warns them off.

Flora is good with people, especially my family–she is affectionate with my kids.

One of the advantages of having a family dog is that my children have learned a sense of responsibility.

They understand that she is a living, breathing being that needs feeding, walking and attention.

We are all glad to have her.”
